Back when I first started making accessories for Loco Pocos, I wasn’t so organised… I just kind of made whatever came to mind, which left a lot of items that could have made a complete outfit were they not missing one or two things.
Well to start off the new year I decided to complete these outfits, now available as shown below!

In the beginning of December I announced a competition, your task was to guess how many gifts would be given away in total during the event.
In return for guessing the closest to this number (without going over) you would receive a gift card to Loco Pocos (and Mirada!) with the value equal to the number of gifts given.
Well, the totals have been counted and the winner found, the total number of gifts given away was 6,315!!!
Our lucky winner, receiving a gift card for L$6,315 is Ajaxia Alter, congratulations!
Ajaxia guessed 6,211 on the 4th of December, an amazing guess! Apparently Ajaxia “stabbed randomly” at a calculator to reach this number, but I am sure curious what the equation was :D

Hi everyone!
I hope you’re all enjoying our 25 Days of Xmas gifts and the Loco Pocos Xmas Hunt!
In the meantime you may have noticed that I haven’t been around much, while I was planning on taking some time off for Christmas, I have kind of been FORCED to take a break! My computer broke :(
So, I’ll be away until 2009 when I’ll be able to get it repaired, or maybe even a new computer, we’ll see how much Santa likes me this year.
I’ll be announcing the winner of the huge 25 Days of Xmas guessing game on the 26th and our Picture of the Month winner in the new year.
Until then, enjoy this special xmas minisode of Tiny Nation!

You can use these as a base for your own Loco Pocos animations!

I’m constantly amazed by how many people enjoy Loco Pocos, not just the avatars but also the island.
Our numbers are definitely growing, as I write this we’re near 500 members in the update group, 200 subscribe-o’s, and in 5 short months we have had over 13,000 visitors to the island.
People are starting to look for somewhere to hang out with other Loco Pocos, chat and have fun. It’s time to start up a real community!
We have had a forum at LocoPocos.com/forum for a while now, but my lack of experience with web forums has left it broken, unusable and riddled with web bots - so in steps my wife, Washu Zebrastripe, with plenty of experience in organising large numbers of people and providing easily accessible forums and information.
Washu has done a fantastic job in setting up a Ning page for Loco Pocos!
This page will act as a base for our community to grow, it has a bot-free forum, streaming information from the blog, streaming pictures from the Loco Pocos flickr group and an up-to-date events calender! It has everything we need to gather together and have a great time :)

The next long awaited hunt event has now arrived at Loco Pocos!

Starting today, you have the chance to win a brand new UNIQUE event-only avatar that will never be sold. All you have to do to collect it is decorate your tree :)
When you visit Loco Pocos Island, at the landing point you will find the XMAS dream teleporter, click that to enter the starting point for the hunt! Pick up your game HUD and find the first baubel located in that area. Find all 12 to win!
This is our third and final winter event for this year, now we have 25 Days of Xmas, How Many Gifts? and the Xmas Hunt, so there is plenty to keep you occupied and much to receive and win!

Alongside the fantastic 25 Days of Xmas event @ Loco Pocos, you have a chance of winning a great prize!
All you need to do is guess how many gifts will be given away as part of our 25 days of free gifts.
To enter, leave a comment with your guess and SL name, it’s as simple as that!
The person who guesses the closest to the number, without going over will win a transferable gift card credited with the same number of L$ as gifts given away. So if we give away 10,001 gifts, you’ll receive a gift card worth L$10,001!
As a starting point if you recall we gave away almost 3,000 avatars at Trick or Treat event which took place over a month - but this time we ahve 25 different gifts you can receive, good luck!

- Only ONE entry per SL account.
