Head to the forums and VOTE FOR YOUR FAVOURITE CREATURES, the top five in that poll will be added to the Loco Pocos roster in a few weeks time :D
If you have a creature suggestion that is not on the poll, simply post your suggestion and I will add it.

You may log in today to either find an informative (if a little goofy) group message from me, or even just an automatic update from my update server - either way, rejoice!
Version 1.4 is finally released, with all these juicy improvements and more:
- Compatible with PANTS
- Fake hands grow on arm attachments to replace detached or replaced hands for other non Loco Pocos accessories
- SL Gesture list to further automate and make animating your avatar easier!
- Some scripting improvements (I’m always so vague with this huh?)
And also, our ten new friends, Sammy, Sandy, Wilbur, Wilma, Jun, Jin, Martha, Marty, Francis and Francine have joined the store and are now available for purchase!
I’ll be updating the online store tomorrow so you can purchase without visiting the island, lazy buggers :)

I just got back from a MAMMOTH tour of Loco Pocos Island, organised by Jade Lily of Orange Island along with a large group of explorers, 30 something strong!
I was very surprised by the turn out, and the overall performance of the sim and puzzles under the strain of 30 avatars, and very pleased how smoothly the whole thing went.
I have given many tours of Loco Pocos Island, especially in the run-up to opening day, but those were typically 4 or 5 people at a time, 30 plus was a little nerve wrecking!
I am very grateful to Jade Lily, the SL Explorers and Orange Island fir the opportunity to showcase Loco Pocos Island and Loco Pocos themselves to so many people, I hope only to spread the word further so that we all may enjoy Loco Pocos ^^

You may have recently received an update to Loco Pocos shoes you have purchased, this is to make way for version 1.4 of Loco Pocos!
So what’s new in 1.4?
- Previously, attaching anything to your Loco Pocos hands (like a fishing rod!) would detach your avatars’ hand and leave you a little odd looking! in 1.4, when a hand is replaced by a different attachment (something non-Loco Pocos) a new hand will re-appear on the end of the arm attachment to cover up the missing body part! Reattaching your regular Loco Pocos hand will restore complete function again.
- Foundations for pants. Originally, it wasn’t in the plan to give Loco Pocos pants… a bit crazy you might think, and in hindsight I agree, but they weren’t part of the design. I have now scripted a way for us to have pants that work perfectly, part of this update was to send out and replace all shoes with new 1.4 compatible versions. All store and web shoes have been upgraded.
- SL Gestures, I will be including some gestures that you can use and customise to be triggered either by a chat command or key press, it’s up to you! So now you can make your avatar flip when you say “yay” etc.
- General bug fixes and optimisation, don’t need to go into it :)
The Loco Pocos 1.4 update will be sent out automatically sometime next week, alongside the 5 new avatars (see previous post).

So I had a lot of trouble getting the blog to look like the website, and in the end, in all honesty - it looked terrible!
So for now, until I can wrangle a more appropriate template that looks like the rest of the website (and works in other browses) this will be the template.

I have been happily enjoying this first week of Loco Pocos being open to the public, and responses have been so overwhelmingly positive - it’s a real moral boost!
Said boost has gotten me deep into expanding the Loco Pocos avatar and accessory line, I plan to release ten new avatars to the store within a week, YES 10! … well, 5 if you don’t count each coming as male and female, but still, not bad for a weeks work *wipes hands*
So I am happy to announce that within a week, you’ll be able to meet:
Sally & Sammy (squirrels)
Martha & Marty (moles)
Wilma & Wilbur (warthogs)
Jun & Jin (rats)
annnnnddd much to everyone’s delight - FOXES!
But, I have a little problem, which I would love for you to help with!

Also, I’ll be rolling out an update to all the other avatars with some fun new features and improvements I thought up.
