If you don’t know already, there is a large 4 sim event going on this week called the Hair Fair.
This event brings together all the hair designer community in SL to product 3-5 new hairs each and release them all at the same date. Each designer has at least one hair that donates at least 50% of proceeds to Locks of Love.
I have donated 3 Mega All packs to the “WHair Am I?” Event that runs for the duration of Hair Fair.

Hi all!
Very soon I will start working on Loco Pocos version 1.5!
One of the main reason for this new update is because MONO is coming to SL. “Mono is up to 220x faster than LSL2″, the scripting language that Loco Pocos relies heavily upon. This will mean your avatar and accessories will become even more responsive and less laggy for sims (they’re really not that bad anyway!)
Version 1.5 updates include:
- Conversion to MONO scripting engine
- More pant legs/arm sleeves options available for future accessories
- Added compatibility for TOYs accessories coming soon :)
- HUD improvements, “One HUD fits all”
- Quest HUD compatibility (more on this in the future)
- Permission problem fixes
- Scripting improvements (aside from mono)
There may be some more changes, I’ll let you know as soon as I know!

Today I opened the first satellite store for Loco Pocos in the awesome Raglan Shire community!
A few lucky people to first visit the store also got a free copy of Freddy or Freida the ferret, congratulations and my thanks to them!

Hi all!
I am very happy to announce a new competition which will take place each month!
The Loco Pocos Photo of the Month Competition!
Rules of entry:
- Photo must be Loco Pocos related, either on the island or of the Loco Pocos avatars
- Photo must be submitted to the flickr photo group.
- Photo must not be submitted more than once
- No limit on how many you may enter into the competition
The winner will be announced on the 1st of each month and will receive a prize!

I like keeping you guys updated, I really feel like Loco Pocos is a project that is directed by us all.
You’ve voted for new creatures, you’ve thought up their names, you’ve suggested new features and awesome accessories - Loco Pocos is YOUR creation!
Production has begun on the round 3 of Loco Pocos creatures, and I thought I would share a rare glimpse into their progress :)

These are completely untextured and unrendered, but as you can see the modeling stage is completed! I’m hoping to release these guys this weekend but at the same time I am worried that my other jobs may get in the way - either way, I’m going to roll them out as soon as possible.

First of all let me apologise for the last weekend’s lack of new Loco Pocos goodies - it has just been far too busy lately with work, I was lucky if I found time to sleep let alone have the energy to come up with some fun Loco Pocos stuff!
This weekend I am releasing at LEAST 12 new clothing items (shirts and pants) which will help give a little more variety in that area!
I am also starting work on the 5 new Loco Pocos creatures that you all voted on, stay tuned for updates :)
